Wu-Tang Fires Back at Joe Budden

MoeRoc, Executive at Wu Music Group defends his fellow Wu-Tang Clansman, Method Man, with a new track fired towards Joe Budden entitled “32 Bars Of Respect”. MoeRoc comments, “The Joe Budden remarks towards Mef were disrespectful. I did it to teach Joe some Respect. In Hip Hop we already lost Loyalty & Integrity, we can’t allow Respect to go out the window just like that. Method Man is like a big brother to me, Mef is one of the illest to touch a Mic, Top 5 Stage Performers Ever & A Legend in Hip Hop. Joe will Never be a fraction of what Mef is, so for him to say he’s better than a Legend is obsurred. He wanted 32 Bars so I gave him ’32 Bars of Respect’ Joe is finished, I respect him as a rapper but he never made a significant Impact on Hip Hop. I’ve accomplished more than Joe Budden already & haven’t even put out my first major Album yet. Bottom line, if he thinks he is better than a Method Man, then I’m way Better than a Joe Budden.”

The Harlem MC also released a 7 Track Street Album entitled Not The Average Joe that features the record “32 Bars of Respect” via www.ImBetterThanJOE.com. Tracklisting and link after the cut. In addition, Fes Taylor also recorded a diss called “Fuck Joe Buddens”.

    I realize Meth is a legend and all…but Joey is built for the battle circuit. He has dismantled G-Unit/Game, Ransom, Saigon, Prodigy and so on and so forth. I expect Budden to drop 100+ bars on these Wu weed carriers.

    In all honesty, i’m a real big WU fan, but ive never heard of “Moeroc” i guess hes doing this diss track for the publicity, how do you come out with Street EP named “Not The Average Joe” & a Website going directly at the New Jersey native..this guy needs to Budd Dwyer himself.

    This is really wack, I never thought rappers would be so damn sensitive. Joe is ready to prove that he’s “currently” better than Mef, but now he got these little wack niggas putting out diss records. Yeah, Joey ain’t no legend like Mef is, nor can he perform like Mef does, but Mef can’t flip words and put together metephors like Joey does. Mef is one of my all time favorites, but he should just stay in his lane. Put up or shut up Mef, this sport is called hip hop, and if you better you gotta prove yourself.

    I keep thinking that somehow this could have all been avoided had the correct language been used…

    and for the record I’m a Joe Budden fan but I’m fixin to get a Wu logo tatoo so…yeah…

    not that it matters anyway…Beef between rappers (for the most part) is viewed by me as just that…beef BETWEEN RAPPERS…As long as both keep puttin out dope music I can give a godamn what their problems with each other are…

    I thought Moeroc had some nice lines on his joint. we’ll see what happens from here. Did Asher Roth ever respond to Stan Ipcus or Copywrite? Did Chucky Cheese respond to Rhymefest?? It seems like now a days nobody has to prove anything. I would mos def respect them a lot more if they came out and tried to go after somebody’s jugular.

    Method Man is ill, bottom line. I like Budden and all but why is he trying to go at meth? Wu has one of the most loyal and unrelenting followings, nothing good could come from this for Joey.
