This track is simply SICK! I truely need more of this kind of hip hop in my life. The project is basically just one song, “Same Beat”, but Damu chose to make a whole project out of it, including a live freestyle, a track off the Y Society LP, and a couple of videos. Big up to Damu. I remember when dude used to Dj the open mics at Capital City records every friday. He was always a very cool dude and it’s great to see him doing his thing crazy. He used to bring out the MPC and drop raw beats on the spot, hell i even seen him kill it on a drum set there this one time. He was lacing Flex Mathews with mad heat. I’m bout to check this out.
