Nick – that’s dope you were there too. Em was the opening act of the LL tour and I remember when Royce came out on stage with him, I was standing in the way back and thinking “oh shit that’s Dr. Dre!” Then I cleared up my eyes and realized it wasn’t Dr. Dre. I had no idea who it was until Royce introduced himself while I was interviewing Eminem and explained he also had an album coming out, etc. At the time, Royce had no music really out.

Thats why we all do what we do. To reach that dream, yo he went platinum in a fuckin year. I know he did a lot of work before that but he made it big in one year. I hope all the producers on this site reaches their dreams of makin it big

Yooo I was there that night of the first interview. Lyricist Lounge tour stop was at Avalon on Landsdown St. Em was the opening act….first on stage. But after his set, he chilled in the crowd the rest of the night and made fans. Even got into a cypher outside after. Still got the “Just Don’t Give a Fuck” 12″ signed by him to this day lol
