The Format: Original Samples

Props goes to Soulcontrollah for sending us this set.  The set was completed only needing us to track down the vocal samples.

AZ’s sixth studio was originally released November 2006, but was re-released about a year later with additional bonus tracks.  This album is one of my favorites from AZ’s catalog with bangers such as “The Format,” “Royal Salute,” “I Am the Truth,” and “Animal.”  Production is handled by Fizzy Womack (Lil Fame of M.O.P.), Statik Selektah, DJ Premier, Emile, J. Cardim, and others.

The set includes samples from Natural Four, Roberta Flack, Rick James, Nas, B.I.G., and others.  Info and link after the cut.
