Foreign Exchange Live in Toronto This Friday!

Damn. If you guys have seen Little Brother live, then you know what an entertaining show Phonte can provide for even the most dull audience member. This time, he returns with Nicolay and as The Foreign Exchange, backed by a 7 piece band. It’s set to be quite a beautiful time out and can really only be a show set to satisfy. We also got some more goodies courtesy of the dope promoters, The Main Ingredient, including a video promo (e-card by General Eclectic and Chris Thomas) and a mixtape mixed by DJ Mensa entitled Take It All With You [to download right click and select "Save Link As..."]. THE MAIN INGREDIENT is proud to present the Canadian debut of THE FOREIGN EXCHANGE. North Carolina based THE FOREIGN EXCHANGE are one of the marquee groups globally creating a sound that melds contemporary soul music, with strong influences of hip hop both in their lyrics and production. The duo originally established through file swapping between then Netherlands based producer Nicolay and North Carolina based Phonte of the popular hip hop group Little Brother, have since received global praise for their two albums Connected and Leave It All Behind.
