I agree Re: “Auditorium.” That other madlib joint, “Revelations” is dope too. Overall, I’m pleased with what I hear. Sometimes, however, I get the feel that Mos Def isn’t sure what sound he’s going for, see The New Danger, which I liked. But he seems to have a tendency to do what usually kills Nas albums, i.e. not always pick quality beats, and/or have an inconsistent sound on an album.

Well done on the $3.99. You think this is a late move to curb the free downloads and get a little money before the street date? e.g. “it’s only $3.99, I might as well make it official.”

Last physical CD I purchased was Q-Tip’s Renaissance. I used to like having the “hardcopy,” but this digital download world is too fast paced, and it’s difficult to turn back to ordering/buying CDs.

My joint right now is Waxolutionists’ “Flashlight.” Dope!

I picked this up for $3.99 on Amazon and after downloading the full album the Downloader application said that some tracks could not be added to itunes. Sure enough when I checked itunes only 10 of the 16 tracks showed up, even though all of them showed up on my hard drive. Now I’m looking at having to pick up the physical just to get the other tracks. Just wanted to know if anyone else encountered this problem.
