Trying To Focus… [Site Update]

This update is for our loyal readers as I feel I need to keep you all updated whenever things are running a little differently around here. You may have noticed that there have been fewer updates this week. I don’t really konw how to explain without getting too personal, but I’m at a point where I need to refocus some priorities in life. The site is still gonna be here… I’m not going anywhere, but my time online is being cut drastically. For now anyway. Though the site and all of you bring me joy everyday, it does not put food on my table (like my job), nor does it provide comfort (like my family). With that said, updates will be sparse for a while, at least until I can figure out how to juggle things evenly. I will not be able to post everyone’s requests nor will I be able to answer everyone’s emails. Right now I know I am behind at getting last week’s remix contest entries up and I have about 15-20 interviews waiting to be posted as well. I just ask everyone to be patient as I try to sort things out.

    Don’t we all know that feeling ? I personally have promised to cut back on all the time in front of this machine and less time producing to spend some more time with my family, and it’s not a loss.. My oldest son is being more outspoken and talks a lot more about stuff ( or else I do suddenly hear them ) and he takes an interest in producing, so I had to lend him my MPC.. No a 5 year old cant produce, but he can put stuff together, when dad have joined some drums together..

    What im saying is, Kev we understand You dont owe us, we owe you and that is to be grateful for your site, which always brings me joy and curiousity enough to try albums and tapes, I woundn’t have listened to without your site… And I wouldn’t have ‘met’ the Nottinghammers which is some hard and focused MF’s..

    Thanks to everyone for the comments and emails. Everything’s straight though… I didn’t mean to scare anyone with this post. I consider everyone on this site fam and just wanted to give those an update who may be wondering why I hadn’t gotten to certain projects. We’re gonna get shit straightened out and keep pushing. I ain’t a quiter, so no one has to worry about this site going anywhere.
