I knew there was word of a new Wu-Tang Clan album in the works, but I must have missed the official memo. In case you did too, the album is Chamber Music and is due in stores at the end of the month (June 30). Here’s the first single/leak, “Ill Figures,” with Raekwon, Kool G Rap, and M.O.P. Can’t wait. Sounds like the album will be similar to the Wu-Tang meets Indie Culture album but either way it’s new Wu.

Yes! New Wu-Tang album can’t wait. I liked 8 diagrams but i didn’t like it at the same, if that makes sense. Hope this would be better.

I’m hopeful for a good Wu return. It won’t reach that 93-97 status, but I’ll take some good music. Geeked I am!

I think this is one of the first official confirmations of this new Wu-Tang Album, what you may have been thinking of was The Shaolin vs Wu-Tang which Raekwon was going to be in charge of, but that’s set for 2010, and also may never come out since RZA and Rae squashed their problems I think.
