Slaughterhouse appeared on DJ Green Lantern‘s show last night and all of them went in on Jay’s “D.O.A.” (Death of Autotune). The youngest member of the crew, Joell Ortiz RIPS this joint to pieces. He spits over 100 bars for almost 7 mins. Damn! So many quotables from him…but the following joint was hottest at 12:55 in.

The Slaughterhouse album has been pushed back to August 11 (same day as Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2) and will be released on E1 (formerly Koch Records). I’m dusting off The Brick tonight to give that some spins. Hit the cut for the link.

and yes, Joell was impressive. Crooked didn’t have as much time and he had to follow Ortiz and still did great. Especially with that ” You hip hop because you on one foot” line.

anyways. I’m not huge fans of any of these guys like others, they all seem to have their stans. I’m a bigger Royce solo fan and really wish he focused on non-slaughterhouse material and dropped a damn solo

I’m interested in this album and their solo projects but seriously, kill the shots at Wu. They’ll regret it imo and it makes no sense. I get backing your guy (Joe) but all you have to say is no comment. Crooked I was just showing nothing but love to Raekwon in a video and Joell has done tribute tapes. SMH
