Props to Onez for compiling this set.  At Your Own Risk was released September 24, 1990 and reached Gold status although the album only charted one single; Ruff Rhyme (Back Again).  I’m not too familiar with this one, but I’m sure some of our loyal left coast followers will dig this.  Didn’t King Tee have an album produced solely by Dr. Dre while on Death Row?  Info and link after the cut…

this was King Tee’s best work by far…the stuff he did with Dr. Dre leaked on the internet but it wasn’t what I hoped it to be

I got the King Tee joint on cassette, the Grand Finale was and still is the shit..one of the best posse cuts ever, my opinion.

On “E get swift”, the scratch “He is the master of the scratch and cut”, at the end, is taken from Run-DMC, “Jam-Master Jay”.

lol. i used to down thunderbird wine ta this album… takes me way bk……… nice set, although marley marl’s remix of the title track, was better than the lp mix!!!!!!
