@44th – I understand where you are coming from. I just listened to the Mobb track you mentioned, and I see where they sampled one half of what I sampled. When I heard the sample, I figured it had probably been done already (I hadn’t heard the other versions) but I had to go hard on it. Maybe consider it a homage to the greats who already did it big. @Brendan. Thanks yo. I appreciate it. I started off rhyming in cyphers on the block and in open mics ( U street stand up ) but production is my thing. Making beats is easier to me cause it’s my passion and i do it way more now, i aint trying to Kanye the game but i always got rhymes ready cause i do it for fun.

@Black Hayez You kept it real and said how you feel, i respect that. I’m glad you liked the rhymes and the flow. I’ve always been an abstract dude with producing and rhyming so i understand that not everybody’s gonna get my shit but the fact people show love for what they like about it means a lot.

@44th Thanks for the love. Glad you felt the rhymes. I gotta still prop GC cause it was dope flip with the breakdowns and all. I knew that the sample was flipped before. But i just love that loop. Large pro was the first cat i heard use it so i identify the sample with his joint. Thats why in the middle of the second verse i pay homage to him by quoting his lines “a funk monkey/ one rapper fell off now he a junkie/ there’s 8 million stories in the city it’s a pity” from tribes album.
