Who’s ready to get back into the Blueprint Remix contest? It was nice to take a week off and pay our respects to MJ. But now it’s time to finish this contest up. With three weeks left, there’s still plenty of time to hop in and get a spot on this remixtape.
For week 11, we are remixing the Bink-produced “All I Need”. Remember, you must use the original sample to remix this track. This week’s sample is Natalie Cole’s “I Can’t Break Away.” Should be some great beats coming out of this track.
If you’re new to the contest, read the rules. Please remember to name your mp3 with your name only when uploading via the widget below. If you made changes and have to reupload, add -FINAL after your name. Remix is due next Sunday (July 12th) by 3pm Eastern Time. Good luck!

Nickelz – I like the big pictures in this… Sky’s the limit..
44th Parallel – A lill jazz piece… I sense some Brand New Heavies in it ?
J Fizz – Jay’s running…And the other vocal doesnt fit in…
Bidimridim – Very powerful joint… It got a nice vibe and fits the song well…
BigFunky – Much like Bidimridim, but less organic… It sounds too chopped and the levels are a bit low on some parts..
Decatur – I really some of your sounds ( I got it to 71 diff. sounds from both amiga kits to rocafella kit ) and it got too many things going on for me…
DJ Greentown – I really loved the intro, but you lost me a little on the verses.. I would have kept some parts with some room or some wide delay..
Drew – I like those drums but I want something extra and a lill surprize..
DJ Blueprint – Ruff rugged and raw… I would like a little extra in after second verse, but thats me…
Tomorrow – A hard sample, but a little variation… It’s looping…
Mastamind – A winner joint… I really like the arrangement with a little vibe like ‘So Geto’… I dig …

Knewbalance – I meant well… Your drums are nice, a bland between ‘2 cups of blood’ and ’shook ones’ and you have a nice Large Pro style on the chorus and a nice vibe on the chorus chopped as in the late 90s… It is a nice attempt standing next to the original… Nice one…

Just uploaded mine. Shout out to all the other producers this week. When i first heard the sample i thought it was going to be easy to find a part to chop up, but it was harder than i thought. Also matching the pitch to the chorus was tough. thats why my remix isn’t very original. I Had to have the chorus match up. Alright i will comment on some other submissions when i get a chance. Later

Yeah, Esbjerg is on the jutland side of Denmark and Im closer to Copenhagen, but you’re right on the city… Isbjerg is danish for Iceberg, and it’s from the Ice T era… I fell in love with the cover and the record, so I had to have a cool name like that.. And I love the fact, that 90 percent of an Iceberg is lurking under the surface..

44th production – You might have the one to beat this week. no pun intended. I liked how you chopped up the begging of the song. I was working on that, but i couldn’t get it to sound the way i wanted it. Also how you added the extra vocals when the acapella randomly drops out for a couple seconds. Nice flip
Vol- At first listen i wasnt sure where this was going. But im diggin how the beat rides the offbeat. I think you might be the only producer this week to have this kind of sound. really fresh feel. Everything’s really on point
