Here it is… the official Melanie Fiona/?uestlove mixtape! I was surprised to see this get a Saturday release, but I ain’t complaining. We have been following Melaine’s career since we announced her as the artist to watch back in January. Since then we’ve heard so many different versions of “Give It To Me Right” and even got a shout out from Melanie herself! Originally, The Bridge was supposed to see a May release, but it’s officially slated for August 18th. Hopefully this mixtape will hold you over until then!

This is an outstanding sounding set. Melanie has all the musical tools to make a big mark in music. She might be the best thing to burst out for “R&B” in a decade.

Kev I just noticed, the album has been out for a bit now. I’m pretty sure I saw it in stores the other day, and I’m pretty sure I know people who bought it too. I could be wrong.
The album was released overseas, but the U.S. doesn’t get it until Aug 18th. We always get the shaft….
