We gave you a preview of this new EP last week and now we have the full thing available right here. These 5 tracks are just a morsel of hip hop that you will hear from these two before the summer is out. HiPNOTT’s own G.C. has been mad at work and has two more releases coming soon. A hip hop album with emcee MaG and an R&B EP with HiPNOTT’s First Lady, Dasha.
Tokyo Cigar, on the other hand, is a master at both the beats and on the mic. Leaving the production solely to G.C. for this release, Tokyo steps front and center behind the mic. Emcees, look out for our first ever MC Contest hosted by Tokyo Cigar on the beats next month!
And if you think we’re the only site that recognizes these great talents, you’re wrong. G.C. was recently featured at BigMouthsOnline and Tokyo Cigar had a feature over at WYDU. Props to both of these guys doing it up big!

Tokyo explains it at the end of the opening track…it’s basically bringing it back to that raw no frills hip hop – beats and rhymes. As Tokyo put it, “You know the Flintstones shit with those cars and the tires are stone? That’s how stone age this shit is. We taking it back to the basics, stripping the shit down. Beats and rhymes, straight up and down hip hop shit.”

Thanx for the shoutout… I really like this… I would have mixed Tokyo’s vocals a bit different and left a bit more room for his signature voice… You fit each other very well, and Im waiting for a remix of Gorilla Monsson feat. G.C on the mic and Tokyo on the co production… I dig the productions and I was pleasently surprized by the lyrics… One love fam
