I have always considered Jazzy as one of the most hottest ,inovative, entertaining and creative DJs of all time.I had the pleasure of meeting him back in the day at a concert and had the chance to sit down with him and ask him about some tips on djing.I’d never heard a dj,with such accuracy with scratching,in my life. The man is a machine.Of course, theyre some out now, that can cut just as good, but he was originator that brought this kind of scratching,to the 21 century. And J. Rizzle, damn I love your list fam.The only difference is, I would have to divide it into 2 categories:

    Scratch DJs:
    DJ Jazzy Jeff
    DJ Revolution( Scratch and Mixtape)
    DJ Break( Scratch and Mixtape)
    DJ Spinbad( Scratch and Mixtape)
    DJ Babu( Scratch and Mixtape)
    DJ QBert
    DJ Rectangle( Scratch and Mixtape)
DJ Kentaro( DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS CAT FROM JAPAN)
The X-cutioners( so that takes care of Roc too.lol
    DJ Scratch
    DJ Premier

I left some off this list cuz this is just my short list

    Mixtape DJs:
    DJ Juice
    DJ Dirty Harry
    DJ Rukiz
    DJ Ty Boogie
    DJ Rello
    DJ Silva Surfa
    DJ Rob E. Rob
    DJ Junior Tec
This is a short list too.The main reason why i like these djs cuz they are blend tape djs-THE TRUE ART OF DJING.Some of these mixtape dj and some of the live djs nowadays, got it easy. When I was djing and going to parties,u better be able to blend in song after song after song, with no pauses. If u broke the blend cycle,u would damn near stop a party.U would know if u got a hold of one of those good mixes today,if u got a mixtape and its only one track on a cd.lol.If I find one I did,in the last few years,i’m gonna drop it on Rizzle.

oh my goodness….that was crazy lol

S.T.T.R.E.S.S. -Mayne, I like the fact you broke your list down into 2 parts…and I agree the Blend tape Djs does show the true art because you have to match the right accapella with the right beat and the ones you have on your list are the tightest…and Ron-G is the innovator the Hip-hop beats over the r&b accapellas ( I guess this was the fourunner of hip-hop soul)

P.S. – Mayne you fit into the category of the art of DJing (blendin’)
