John Public Live Tonight + Contest Details

The homie John Public is gonna be performing at Voodoo Lounge in NYC tonight with the Brown Bag All-Stars and DJ Kool Herc. Doors open at 9pm. So if you’re in the area, check em out.

“To mark the release of my album ReGifted: Thrift Shop Experience later this summer, I’m debuting a new viral series and contest that focuses on lyricism. The video concept brings together myself and other emcees to drop 16-24 bars of our lyrical best. The contest: whenever a video is posted with Add Lyrics in the subject line from my YouTube channel (youtube.com/JohnPublicFlipcam), the first person to transcribe my particular verse from the video and add it into a comment on my channel will win the prize for that video.
