Here are the remixes to the remix of “Girls, Girls, Girls.” We’ll call this Part 2. With only 34 entries, Week 13 was a little lighter than previous weeks. Hopefully everyone was able to get their remixes in on time with the extension and all. Check em out after the cut…

This week’s entries seem very strong compared to last weeks. Some of my favorites are:
44th Parallel – something about this beat hits hard and i like it
Aceondatrack – Great work with the piano and synth becoming one with the sample
Beat Matrixx – Clean and simple, good work
Bidimridim – like the way you flipped it
DJ Tommy – I think I would have liked it better if you kept it the straight acapella but the beat is off the chains
Ion the Prize – overall sickness
Josh Byrne – very different and creative but works well (u go to CU? I went there and live in Boulder)
Phurcat – like the overall vibe
Ransom Notes- much heavier approach and it totally works here
RazorSharpe – intro kills it
Sima- chops are out of control
Tenth – FIRE. Love this one.
SweedishGuy- Very, very nice work with the sample.

i took the liberty of commenting on EVERYONE’s Remix…shout out to mastam!nd for commenting on everyone’s remix last week….

44th Productions – Nice chops and the bouncy kicks are superb

Ace – Wow….I felt like I was listening to E 1999 Eternal when I heard your mix….great job

Alien – Like how you flipped the track…drum rolls are on point, too

Beat Matixx – good drum pattern dude….nice and simple sample chop

Bidimridim – What a hip-hop vibe you gave the track! The flying lotus like chopping is crazy!

Clear Blue – I Think you just need to adjust the volume on the track a little by like 3-4 db….nice job though

DJTommyIIGunz – I like how you flipped the track…plus you added my favorite rapper into the mix…..nice…..drums is on point…the only problem is that the acapella is off

DNB – Amazing Intro…and from there you kill it 6 ft. under….just need to add the acapella

Psymun – Another banger…wrong acapella though

Ion The Prize – Feelin’ the RZA-like Drums…your chops gave the track the R&B vibe it’s supposed to have…great job

Isbjerg – Jay, Mos, & DMX??!!??!!…only you can make that happen! The drums remind me of “Paul Revere” if they had sounded forward….You kept the sample game simple plus the mixing is on point….one of my favorites

Prices – Very Different form everyone else’s mix….But nice indeed…..gave it a futuristic hip-hop feel….acapella is a little off

Sima – Another one of my favorites! The drums bang like no other….Chop pattern crazy ill….nice job

Getnyce- Thanks for the feedback…..One hells of a track….i think some things need to be out more volume-wise. For instance, the samples…bring it out a little more homie!!!

John Byrne- Maddddd creative….i see some Kareem Riggins and ?uestlove in you man….keep up the good work

Mellow Daze – That beat is KRAZY!!…the acapella is off though

Phurcat – I enjoyed the track…nice chorus chop…feeling the claps…I think you need to eq Jay’s voice though so his presence can come out more, because he sounds like he’s in a club and everyone elese is outside smoking a cigarette lol

D.O.E. – Very interesting drum pattern man….it came out ill though….plus the chorus matches the song perfectly

S.T.R.E.S.S. – Originality on point dude! Its’ got that nice sit back and blaze a joint vibe…feelin this track man you did your thing

Mr. Cave King (Tokyo)- Once again the chops please the ear! The drums match perfectly….the acapella is a little off though…btw that EP is Pure Dopeness…can’t wait for that Album!!!!

Random Notes – You KILLED the track!!!! really enjoyed it….did you make the chorus or did you used a sample? How you altered the sample was mad creative…..overall another one of my favorites this week…

Sec – That Beat is F’N HARD!!!!! The drums are appealing…..

Tenth – Truly a REMIX – the chopping is crazy nice dude….arrangement on point….if kanye had to revisit his mix, i think he would make it close to yours…

Tic Toc – Nice track man…the boom bap feel and the mean chops on point…i think you just need to drop the beat down to a few db’s…..jay’s vocal is behind the beat….

That Swedish Guy – (APPLAUSE!!!)…amazing instrument play and the “impeach the president” drums are crazy!!! definitely a favorite of mine

44th Parallel – Amazing drum play man!!

Anton Blitz – kept the chopping nice and simple with a groovy drum pattern…nice work

Bezouro – I think you should’ve brung the drums out a little more….but i like the ambient sound you was going for

Essence – Ill bass line and the hihats in the drums are excellent….

Jazzmarc – Loved the beat…chopping game was on point….i wish you would have brought jay’s vocal out more…

Jukebox – Another joint i thought was mad nice.. but jay’s vocal sounded like u slowed it down and it’s behind the beat….

shout outs bouncin’ right back to Razor for doin’ what I did last week!! This is the only way for everyone to at least take a ‘lil somethin’ home. Sadly I was outta town last week, went on a trip to Holland (hehe), need to get a laptop so I can stay busy, had to leave my sampler at home… Was forced to focus on good ‘ol lyrics, can’t just do nothing… In case you haven’t been there, you guys gotta pay a ‘lil visit to Holland Good job people, there’s some awesome joints here too, haha!
