Shouts to my man Hetal and 2DopeBoyz for bringing us this new track from Eminem. “The Warning” is a straight shot at Nick Cannon and Mariah. Nice to hear Em get pissed and go off on these two. Don’t fuck with Slim!

Just pathetic. He’s been wasting his talent his whole career taking shots at celebrities who don’t matter and never will. Let’s see him get into it with some talented emcees — that’d be interesting. Let’s see him get into it on some social or political shit that actually matters — that’d be inspiring. This is just Em jacking off.

    lmaooo

  • Mch1c

I agree with him battling talented emcees… but there aren’t too many emcees that would be relevant enough to battle slim. He is respected by nearly every person in the running for “best rapper alive” category. The only people he might be able to actually battle it out with would be some underground artists. But that does nothing for him considering it will only give those artists more exposure and publicity. That’s why he should just keep the subliminals going at those artists.

My point is, think about some of the top emcees in the game right now that are actually relevant. Then try and think of any of those artists that would want to try and go at slim…

Em did come up in the Detroit underground battle rap scene…

also some of his beefs have been label generated and he may or may not of had an option as to whether to participate or not

and he has made some political stuff, Mosh was a (successful) attempt at a social judgement, i do agree with Mch1c tho

  • Wez

Em use to rip the MC’s in the battle rap shops of Detroit. Dont front on that

This is kind of pathetic in the fact that this one song is better than basically than entire Relapse album except Underground. Where was he spitting like this on that album? I’m sick of Em “dissing” pop culture celebs.

  • http://www.djmsp.com DJ Multiple Sex Partners

“Mosh” doesn’t make sense no matter how much I smoke, dude. So many MCs have done a better version of breaking down the Bush admin that Em’s attempt is pretty embarrasing by comparison.

Just my opinion and I’m obviously an asshole.

Justin, I totally disagree lol. I don’t think you are giving Relapse enough credit, but it seems like people will goback and forth on that topic all day long. You singled out Underground, which is probably his most “Infinite” like track, but, moving on.

I’m not sick of him dissing people, especially like this. In fact, when I heard this, it blew my mind. Sure, its juvenile, sure its silly to go after mariah carey and nick cannon, BUT, Mariah put out a DAMN SINGLE and even put a YOU in the video. does that not call for something? Regardless, Eminem is kind of “low” for doing this, but fuck it, when has hitting rock bottom ever stopped Slim. As a matter of fact, how great is “Warning”

I effing love this joint… holy smokes

Look at basically the never ending feud between Slim and Canibus, Cage, etc. for example. Who was basically the last real mainstream rap artist Em went at, Ja Rule? Exactly… Where is he these days? I heard his album that was supposed to be released in 07 for his “comeback” is now being released for FREE in a week or so… Ja even had Wayne in his prime on his attempt at a comeback single. The track even got radio plays. But if you noticed, mixtapes were cutting out Wayne’s verse and only using that. Granted, Ja Rule isn’t the best… but thats what artists see when you look at Em’s track record. Benzino… Who is that?!

As I said earlier, if you are tired of him dissing irrelevant celebrities. He only does that because no real established artists are dumb enough, or have any reason to go at him. Bar for bar Em will beat 99.99 percent of rappers in the game, thats why Jay and Nas for example are cool with him, they are all legends.

So, have fun with this one Nick Canon, haha. Em would ruin Nick’s career! He probably wont have any impact on MC, a lot of her fanbase is different than Em’s.

    re-post? anyone..

  • Charity

Well, I think Eminem is also cool Jay-Z and Nas because Eminem has tremendous respect for hip hop as a form, and its pioneers. I don’t think Em gives a fuck about anything or anyone else in this world, tho, aside from his daughter.

    yo funny ass hell!

  • H. Bomb

Fuck you all for agreeing that Nick Cannon has no career… He’s the fuckin host of “America’s Got Talent!”

HOLY SHIT. i wish em had spit like this on relapse. his flow is so ill on this song

  • Mike

em paid his dues and came up doing nothing but battling… i’m sure if someone stepped up to battle him he would accept the challenge… as far as this track goes… i love it! i don’t care if he’s dissing mariah as long as the the lyrics are dope/funny and the track is on point

  • http://kevinnottingham.com Justin

    @deez

Maybe it warrants a spot but I’d like to feel like the guy has matured a little bit. And we’ll obviously disagree because I thought Relapse was pretty bad.

  • Matt Houghton

Mariah and Nick should have been like every other person Eminem takes on and just let it go. He can’t be beat and he won’t be stopped. He’s too crazy and his fan base is too big especially for a nobody showboy like Nick Cannon. But no, Mariah had to take her own shots and Em and now it’s personal in his mind. At least he didn’t go all out, hence “Warning.” I think it was immature, but well deserved.

    A.K.A, I f**king love it.

  • Eric

I agree with Sean. Period. I’m NOT sick of him dissing people either. lol.

  • Eric

C’mon now… he even put audio bits of mariah on the song.. now that’s genius! No one caught that?

    Mariah Poppins?! LMFAO!

  • Lil Ish

SLIM WENT IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or maybe it was marshall….hmmmmmmmm lol

It’s not the point of Em battling top MCs,it’s about Em ripping up anybody that comes at him. This is what he does and he does it well.Let’s dont forget the point to this diss. She drew first blood, not Em.I like mariah, but WTF was she doing, especially being a newlywed, and Nick,I know that’s your wife and u want to protect her honor, but stay out of it,or the next rhyme he writes, might be about U(name those lyrics lol).If u wanted to do something,u should have prevented her from even coming out with the song in the first place. As far as Em battling a top notch mc, there are none that’s out there that can take down Em, one on one, lyric for lyric, verse for verse. Why do u think that no one is never really calling Em out.Cuz they dont wanna get posterized.Think about this fact: Every guest apperance that Em has made on someone else’s song,he has shut it down with his 16 bars.Even on Biggie’s(RIP) Dead Wrong, cats were like “WHO THE FUCK IS THIS SPITTING!!!!!”One more thing,go back and look at the bonus footage of 8 mile, and see how he just demolished everybody that signed on as a extra for the rap battle scene, single handed and off the top of the dome and he was horse and sick.Dont believe me, go and check it.AMAZING!
