September 11th can’t come soon enough! Props to my man Hetal for sending this my way, via Jay’s new website www.jay-z.com. Hit the jump for the full image and a possible tracklist that’s floating around the Net. No word on if the tracklist is legit or not yet. Thoughts?

3 erikm August 3, 2009 at 4:29 pm

would like to see some other producers on the album other than kanye west.

4 Dphill August 3, 2009 at 4:40 pm

Kanye is gonna murder the production!!! Check me out at myspace.com/trill4reel…..spacebarr

5 Shean August 3, 2009 at 4:43 pm

OH MY DAYS!!
Jay in an interview said that the track he was most happy with was “Empire State Of Mind” and its got Nas on?! Damn that is going to be firer if this track list for real!

6 DJ SoulClap August 3, 2009 at 5:12 pm

Can’t wait to hear this shit!

7 eA August 3, 2009 at 5:14 pm

Sounds of the 70s is gonna be ridiculously live if it’s how I imagine it in my head.

goodness, gooodnesssss

8 ESKINNY August 3, 2009 at 5:21 pm

yo the tracklist sound hot but remember this isnt nas and jay z firsta track together and the last one sucked im stoked for the blueprint…….

9 razorSHARPE August 3, 2009 at 5:27 pm

honestly….sorry to say but i don’t think this album is gonna live up to the blueprint series…..kanye’s production games isn’t the same anymore and jay’s lyricism isn’t as good as it used to be.

KANYE GOT THIS! HOPEFULLY HE’S RETURINING TO HIS ORIGINAL PRODUCTION STYLE THAT MADE HIM SO FAMOUS!

11 Lil Ish August 3, 2009 at 5:36 pm

I think the album will be fire with No ID and Kanye.

12 K. Sidney (Blogger/Emcee) August 3, 2009 at 5:37 pm

I said it twice, and I’ll say it a third time: I think that KID CUDI’S appearance on this album is a bigger story than DRAKE being on there even though the opposite is true. I say that because DRAKE’S got 3 official mixtapes in circulation, while CUDI has only 1. I know he’s YE’S guy, but so are GLC, CONSEQUENCE, REALLY DOE, BIG SEAN, and COMMON, and I have yet to see their names on any of JIGGA’S albums. I’m just puttin’ that out there.

13 Charity August 3, 2009 at 5:42 pm

What? 808s withstanding, I don’t really see what’s so divergent about Kanye’s more recent production — except for growth away from tracks like Never Let Me Down and Poppin’ Tags. Also, why are we talking about how this will live up to the Blueprint *series*? Are we pretending that Blueprint 2 wasn’t a terrible album?

14 Thomas August 3, 2009 at 5:50 pm

“GLC, CONSEQUENCE, REALLY DOE, BIG SEAN, and COMMON”
^^
The only person from that list that would desire to be on a Jay album would be Common. Kid Cudi is probably on the hook. I would bet all the $ I have in pocket he isn’t rapping.

BP2 was very good in some spots…..weak in others. If anyone listens to 808’s and doesn’t think the production is tough…well……

15 Thomas August 3, 2009 at 5:51 pm

The Nas and Jay track you must be talking about must be “I Do This For Hip Hop” because “Success” was the swine flu (no Tony Yayo).

16 K. Sidney (Blogger/Emcee) August 3, 2009 at 6:03 pm

He didn’t rap on “808’s” so I’d say that’s a safe bet.

17 DJ PLAYUHH August 3, 2009 at 8:16 pm

@thomas– DAMN STRAIGHT.

18 Brendan AKA Crates August 3, 2009 at 11:54 pm

@ razorSHARPE – i hate to be cynical, but i think you are right. maybe i will be pleasantly surprised though, you never know

19 swaggerJacker August 4, 2009 at 12:26 am

so no Swagger Like Us Remix with 3 Stacks!?

20 Jay Rich August 4, 2009 at 12:54 am

I agree… NO swagger like us Remix

I am shocked that Lil Wayne isn’t on here…

No track with Lupe or Eminem

No Tracks by Toomp, Diddy, Dr. Dre, SWIZZ or the Neptunes..

I don’t think this is the final tracklist, but it wouldn’t surprise me, seeing that Diddy and his boys did produce most the American Gangster.

I personally think AZ and/or Eminem shoudl hop on that Empire State of Mind, but I think it’llbe a cold day in hell before Jay-Z has a collaboration with AZ, Redman, or a Wu-Tang Member…

21 PAdAM August 4, 2009 at 4:53 am

no just blaze:(

22 Charity August 4, 2009 at 7:48 am

I would die happy with a Jigga/Ghostface collabo.

23 Cenzo Beatz August 4, 2009 at 8:18 am

cover looks dope and im also lookin forward to hear that timbo joint!

BUT: Additional Production: MGMT??? i dont know about that one! i’m curious though!

24 james August 4, 2009 at 8:21 am

MGMT co produced a song? ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS!?

kudi, drake and hudson features=fail.

MOAR NO ID PRODUCTION

25 Nobody Famous August 4, 2009 at 11:47 am

I’m interested to her the song co produced by MGMT, I have a feeling it it will have an epic vibe to it

26 Quiet August 4, 2009 at 11:08 pm

ok well Jay said he records up til the last minute.. its only the begining of august .. it only needs a few days if that to press. .i doubt this is the final listing.. if so im kinda upset. .but Im a listen in.. im not feeling the first single at all. . whats up with all the No Id shit.. I guess he’s going for a soulful feel.. No Id did say that one producer should produce albums didnt he.. so it does sound like a mixtape.. well we’ll see. . And im not feeling his features . .. looks like he’s trying to win over the young audience . .but take stabs at autotune to seal the deal on the older folks.. Nice gimmicks.. lets just hope this will be the blueprint of hip hop and not the blueprint of how to sell a million records..

27 Lil Ish August 4, 2009 at 11:47 pm

Why do we suspect that hov is trying to reach the young audience with those features? do ever think “hmmm, maybe Jay thinks their dope”?
