One of our close affiliates, Sgt Tibbs at GowhereHipHop.com, had the opportunity recently to catch up with Ms. Melanie Fiona at the Heineken Red Star Soul Series in Chicago. They talk briefly about Busta, Raekwon, and Talib jumping on the remixes of her first single “Give It To Me Right” and also go into her mixtape with Questlove, as well as the debut album The Bridge. Sounds like the album has been pushed back again to September 22, according to the interview. Not sure what’s up with that as the overseas market already has their hands on it. Hopefully SRC (Melanie’s label) is putting some last minute goodies on the album to make it worth our money. Hit the jump to see Melanie’s performance at the showcase!

I honestly cant get enough of this girl. I’m definitely copping that album in september. I just wish she’d update her website so I could see her on tour…
