Trife quietly dropped his debut album (Better Late Than Never) on July 21 with little fan fair. I’ve given it a couple of spins and will probably spend the neccessary money to cop a proper edition.
“Project Leaders” is produced by Blunt & Engineer and features Freeway & Termanology. Each emcee spits tales about their respective hoods over a cool sample from The Symphonic Four’s “Who Do You Think You´re Foolin.” The sample was used recently on one of the better albums from 2008 [top albums of 2008] and should be familiar once you hear it.
