Fat Joe and Jim Jones are the challengers today in Day 3 of Who Spit It Better…Jay-Z edition? All three rhyme over Yvonne Fair’s “Let Your Hair Down” from her 1975 album The Bitch Is Black.
Each track uses the same part of the sample, but does that mean Fat Joe’s “Bad, Bad Man” or Jim Jones’ “Bright Lights, Big City” top Jay’s superior lyricism on “Where I’m From?”
I really don’t need to comment on this one today. Jay > Jim Jones > Fat Joe.

wherre im from… great track
Damn…no love for Jim Jones? It has to be because of his name….cause his flow alone beats out Fat Joe.
To clarify my last comment. I voted Jay, but I’m saying JJ > FJ
I’m going wit Jay, lyrically. Jim’s song has a better feel. And that Max B hook is crazy.
Had 2 go with Jay, but yeah Jimmy was 2nd for sure. The beat Jimmy got was the best of the 3 but were talking rappers i believe.
Im try not to be bias cause “Where I’m From” is one of my all time fav Jay songs. I’ll listen to all three lol
