raekwon

Short break from Jay for a moment.  Rae vs Blu?  The vet against the newcomer?  Blu’s track is on some personal/introspective ish.  Rae is in the pit on his punch you in the face steez.

I got the Clansman on this one.  Who you got?

Raekwon is dope but Blu just came way better, verse for verse.

@ Danimal
I thought of putting Rae against Ghost, but they have a similar style. Thought the contrast in Rae and Blu would be a better match up.

I voted Rae. Surprised by the votes so overwhelmingly in Blu’s favor.

Blu not only out raps Rae, but Exile’s production work slaughters Mizza. The lead off track off Blu’s legendary debut…hard to beat.

I got Blu. 10th bar TKO. The way him and Ex incorporated the sample to blend with the rhymes was beyond crazy.

Chase Valentine : “Blu not only out raps Rae, but Exile’s production work slaughters Mizza.”

Exactly what I was thinking, no knock to Rae but Blu beasts on this IMO. That youtube version sounds so awkward to me, I’m used to hearing the “Bluuuuuuu” intro with the chick singing (probably a sample).

Blu >>>
It’s honestly hard to top Blu when his lyricism is so strong. Not only that though, his flow is definately one of the sharpest & most on point.
