I think the chemistry between Jay and Beans is undeniable. They seen like brother’s from another. Both talking that coded language. One talking speaking as a boss and the other from a grimy/street cats’ point of view. Either way…both cut from the same cloth.
To me Beans has always made Jay step his lyrical game up. Listen to a Jay/Beans song and tell me that Hova’s flow, focus, and bars are a little sharper when alongside Sigel. I think Jay has a healthy respect for Beans and how he gets down on the mic. As you could tell on the previous post I believe Beans gave Jay a run for his money on The Dynasty: Roc La Familia album.
We put together a Best of…with Jay and Beans for you all’s listening pleasure. Nothing new here, but good old classics. Everything under the hood.
