It wasn’t even 24 hours ago that I professed my admiration for N*E*R*D and now I just stumbled upon this dope ass Neptunes compilation put together by the good people at BLINDIFORTHEKIDS. I was a huuuuuge Neptunes fan back in their hey-day. Not only did they have an awesomely unique sound, but they’re from my hometown of Virginia Beach. I won’t hold it against them that they went to rival high schools… lol.
Anyway, I thought I had everything The Neptunes had put out, but I think this compilation proves me wrong. I’ll let BLINDIFORTHEKIDS introduce this great compilation:

For those not in the know, The Neptunes are a record production duo consisting of Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo, who are credited with contributing the sound for some successful Hip hop, R&B and Pop artists in the late-90s and 2000s. The Neptunes’ sound is a distinctive brand of off-kilter, stripped-down electronic funk. Mike has a good azz idea and Kev Lynhaven Mall is the movie spot. The VA Beach area has some of the most beautiful women in the US of Ayyyyyy !!!…The most beautifulest thing in the world ( I had to do my Keith Murray voice, lol).
this is a great mix though. As i said, there are a LOT of tracks on here I have never heard though.
