Graduation The Musical is a blend of Kanye West‘s music and the artists he’s sampled in the past. The ultimate goal of the project was to turn every song into a story that listeners can experience. So many people outside of the world of Hip Hop feel that sampling is a cheap form of production but its the exact opposite. In Hip Hop sampling is a way to keep music from the past alive. The project was initially inspired by a Kanye West concert in which Kanye played a mix of his music as well as the artists he’d sampled.
