S-Preme: The Sicktape, Volume 2

by Kevin on November 10, 2009 · 5 comments

Just when we thought the swine flu threat was dying down, we get hit with another epidemic… DJBooth.net, Terry Urban, Dope Couture, GoWhere Hip Hop, and Kevin Nottingham infect us with S-Preme’s The Sicktape: Volume 2!

The Sicktape sees S-Preme narrating the spikes and spirals of being an aspiring MC. Each track unveils another chapter in the protagonist’s journey thru the limelight, including some unexpected hurdles that many in the industry are all too familiar with. By the end, The Sicktape will have rising stars and star-gazers wondering whether the “big time” truly is worth the sacrifice of mind, body, and — in most cases — the soul.

Guest spots from Amanda Diva and ESSO along with production from Soundtrakk (Lupe Fiasco’s in-house beatsmith) and Charles Hamilton set the scenes for this audio odyssey.

Props/shit-talk to @spreme is highly encouraged! #sicktape2

anyone wanna help me out with a problem i’ve been having recently.. i’m sure you guys have run into this and there’s an easy solution. whenever i download a mixtape and go to extract the files, if it has a MACOSX file or folder, the download never works… i always get an error saying there’s already a file with the same name, blah blah blah. it happened when i tried to download this mixtape.

Funny thing about Amanda Diva, I was watching a show, one of those 40 most shocking… or whatever.. and she was labeled as a “comedian.”
I found that interesting.

anyways… this looks dope. Chi city hip hop is always dope..

I’m pretty sure the “macosx” refers to the thing being zipped up on a mac, it doesn’t matter though. There should be another folder there.

if you use WinRar, which you should if you are extracting something. Just click, extract and extract it to the desktop. that should be it. the maxosx think isn’t important

right now when i save a zipped folder to my computer, i just do the whole extract all files but for some reason, only mixtapes that have the whole MACOSX file with it don’t extract properly.. but i guess i’ll just cave and download winrar. thanks
