NYG’z were the first act signed to DJ Premier‘s Year Round Records dropping their debut album in 2007. The group consist of Shabeeno (aka Shiggy Sha) and Panchi and have been down with Premier/Gang Starr since 95; making appearances on Moment of Truth and The Ownerz. Premier produced the title track to the album that has that knock to it, but a smooth groove at the same time.
