Over here in the States during the mid 90’s the hip hop culture was in it’s Golden Era, and you did not have to look far to hear a dope emcee really spittin’. I had absolutely no idea that European rap was experiencing a similar movement that had folks tearing up microphones left and right. So with today being Throwback Thursday, I am going to take time out to pay respect to all the emcees worldwide that can really spit but have not been heard by the masses. Shouts to my homie Mishoo the Drumkit (Mishoo’s Blog) reppin Germany and Rwanda that turned me to these guys.

we had some dope artists here in germany.
nowadays german hip hop music is mostly garbage in my opinion. same developement as in the USA.
in 96 j-live made a song with them. sorry but i dont know the title. perhaps you can dig the song somewhere…
This is the kind of song that just refreshes my mind, empties out all the garbage lyrics/beats/siren sounds i hear throughout the day. Anyone know whether or not these guys were able to come out with an album?
90s in Cologne Germany were good times…thanks for the reminder!

Mishoo…. what up man!
Walkin’ Large was an ill group. They had many quality joints in the so-called underground rotation. They also did a joint with Black Thought that was ill, which I’ve only obtained on 12″ once heard on Stretch & Bobbito. Respect to the globe for the many contributions to the Culture. The Golden Era is irreplaceable. Word… [PA Native]
They did a cut with Lord Finesse too – it’s ridiculous.
The track is from the album called: RIVERSIDE PICTURES.
They even had a track with Jeru the Damaja called “When I Flow”.
