Intuition: Don't Try + Mixtape Update

We got a new leak from the homie Intuition tonight, as well as a few words from the man himself:

As some of you may know, today was to be the day that I released a free downloadable mixtape exclusively through KevinNottingham and 2dopeboyz. After getting the masters of my album back and listening to the two side by side, I’ve decided to go a different route and begin promoting album leaks (to be released as scheduled on Jan 26th) and plan on releasing the mixtape as a “best of retrospective” of sorts AFTER the album comes out. To those of you that are familiar with my work this shouldn’t be much of a letdown as most of the material has been released on other projects. To those of you unfamiliar with my work who decide to check out the album, the mixtape will work better in that context as a means to hear some of my back catalog. Thank you to KN and 2DBZ for being supportive of the decision.

So there it is… but to the Intuition fans, don’t worry… Jan 26th will be here soon enough. Also, I’ve heard the album and it really is all that! Intuition is bringin tha heat!

Don’t Try:
This is a relatively different track, probably the most different on the record. It’s over an acoustic guitar beat produced again by Equalibrum and has an infectious, sort of folky, hook that gets stuck in your head. Kinda just about being unhappy with your output in life. Relateable topic for a lot of mid 20′s folks nowadays. Releasing this on hip hop sites might be a bit risky but I feel it has some crossover appeal.
