The music video has become somewhat overlooked in the digital age but 2009 had some impressive videos. The cream of the crop came from the west coast as People Under The Stairs & Zion I created the top videos of the year. PUTS’ came with a 1980’s Japanese show concept for “Trippin At The Disco” while Zumbi & Amp Live had one of the most unique videos I’ve seen but it perfectly matched the frenetic pace of “Geek To The Beat.” Check out the entire top 10 list after the jump.

Not to be bias… and yes these videos were great. But. What about Hasan Salaam “15 Minutes” and Rugged N Raw’s “The Ultimate.” Definitely not the average music video. Maybe 2010? We’ll see.:)

But so far I’m not feeling any of the OB4CL2 videos (with the exception of “Walk Wit Me”, which doesn’t really count I guess). Rae needs to take a page out of Prodigy’s book from HNIC 2. Say what you say, but P knows how to make dope vids.
