Just woke up to the news of this tragedy this morning… another one of our greats passed away last night. Rest in peace Teddy.

The thing about his slow jams they are definitely panty droppers, put Close the Door or Turn Off The Lights on and shawty panties automatically dropped…I remember when I was 18 and my uncle said put either one of these songs on and youngin’ watch what happens..he was right !!!

This is a cat that was recognized for his talent while he was living (thankfully!) and will forever be remembered since his passing. Teddy was that dude!!! He had the sexy thing going on and a voice that commanded respect. Couple that with the artistry of TSOP and you have a legend. Truly great and to use the much overused and abused term: CLASSIC. RIP and GOD BLESS.

Man, If Teddy Hadn’t of made all that great music, then half those artists wouldnt be shit. I cant believe how many times ive bumped Cradle To The Grave while thinking about how ill the sample is. Ive been a fan of teddy pendergrass ever since.
