Chris Young the Rapper is a 20 year old emcee from San Diego, CA ready to put his city on the radar. 619 (the area code of San Diego Chris Young was raised in) represents the southeast/east part of San Diego that holds many of the memories which made him the emcee he is. Producers on this album include his label owner/manager Cisco Adler (1/2 of Shwayze), Nobody Famous, Vision, The Ski-Team, The Futuristics & Ebelz, Spencer of Jupiter Rising, The Crew from Finland and many more. After releasing Mood Swing EP in 2009, Chris Young kicks off the year with a statement: “Don’t get it twisted/I water the gate like Richard Nixon/And my prediction is you won’t see the future TIL YOU LISTEN.” 619 is definitely worth a listen.
