Hands Solo: Turn It Up! [A Tribute to Dilla]

The Dilla tributes have been pouring in all week long and we’re trying to get as many posted as possible. This one was sent over by Hands Solo, who was featured on the site a year ago for his 2 1/2 hour classic NY rap mix. A lot of people really dug that mix and dude is just really nice on the mix so I know this one is gonna be good. Here’s what he has to say:

Paying tribute to the late great J Dilla. I know that everybody and their mom did it and that most fans are tired of hearing yet another Dilla Tribute Mix. But since this was a heartfelt project I had to do it sooner or later. Have a listen and feel free to post it if you like it. I know no idea’s original, and as cheesy as it sounds, recording this mix really made me appreciate good hiphop again.
