Hailing from Long Island, NY aka Strong Island, Public Enemy aka PE is known for it’s political lyrics and criticism of the news media with an active interest in the frustrations and concerns of issues within the African American community.

The group consist of the following members Chuck D, Flava Flav, Professor Griff, Brian Hardgroove, DJ Lord, Terminator X, DJ Johnny Juice and Sister Souljah.  Also the revolutionary production group behind the hits were known as  the Bomb Squad featured Hank Shocklee, Keith Shocklee, Eric “Vietnam” Sadler and G-Wiz.
