SXSW kicks off tomorrow in Austin, TX! Unfortunately, no one from the KN.com team will be there to represent but we are sponsoring the Lyricist Lounge showcase which is tomorrow night. Legendary Lyricist Lounge has partnered with SXSW to showcase the finest in new Hip Hop artists during the 2010 SXSW Music Conference. For 18 years, Lyricist Lounge has presented the freshest, high-grade Hip Hop out
there. Helping to launch the careers of Mos Def, Eminem, Notorious B.I.G, and many others, Lyricist Lounge digs deep for hot talent bubblin’ to the surface. For 23 years, SXSW has gathered the music industry in the city of Austin to showcase the hungriest artists across many genres. From an initial crowd of 700, SXSW now draws thousands of bands, fans and professionals every year. Simply put, artist’s careers can begin at SXSW.

This new parnership with SXSW will not only produce a party that you don’t wanna miss, but begins the rebirth of the Lyricist Lounge. With a brand new website, a series of documentary videos in production and a third album in the works, Lyricist Lounge continues its tradition of supporting lyricists who are elevating the artform. Live at the Lyricist Lounge SXSW is the place to be on the first night of SXSW Music!
