And the mixtapes keep coming…. this one comes courtesy of the good people at DJBooth.net. We’ve featured Hollyweerd on the site before, so I’ll be checking this one out.

Atlanta foursome Hollyweerd have joined forces with DJBooth.net to bring fans their long-awaited new mixtape, Edible Phat 2.0. Hosted by heavyweight mixtape DJ/radio personality Don Cannon, the street album features 18 brand new tracks from Dreamer, The Love Crusader, Tuki and Stago Lee, including reader-acclaimed leaks “Love Me” and “Supa Eazy.” Joining Hollyweerd throughout the project are such distinguished collaborators as Pill, Grip Plyaz, Aleon Craft and Little Brother alum Rapper Big Pooh. Handling production duties are SMKA, The Weathermen, Operatoin ADD Scoot Beatz and many more!

Remove Don Cannon, shave the songs using other other people’s beats and bam… it’s an album. We need more albums… less mix-tapes.

Ths shit is aight to. I like how them down south cats rock they rhymes. Beats is cool to. I Wish it was mixed a little better but its still quality. I think way to many tracks tho. They coulda made 2 projects with this. I dont think the average listener is gonna listen to all them tracks not enough time in a day for that. Plus there is alot more weak tracks then strong tracks. They shoulda put the 10 -11 12 max hottest tracks and drop some shit in a couple months once everyone forgets about them.. Becuase of the zillion of other artist droppin shit everyday.
