As we’ve said before the EP is a good way for new and established artist to put out music to hold over fans until the full length project is released. The following is a list of our favorite Extended Play’s. The list comprises gems from the like of Action Bronson, Curren$y, Freddie Gibbs, Self Scientific, Nemo Achida & Guilty Simpson among others. Have you checked out Opio & Equipto’s Red X Tapes? Released on 4/20. That’s the best EP I’ve heard in a while. Features include The Grouch, Del, Mike Marshall, Z-Man, Sunspot and others. Dope beats too.

Yeah it was ok. I wasn’t big on it but Equipto doesn’t grab my attention much, felt the same way about his project with Andre Nicaktina. I may need to revisit though
