Thursday Throwback: Method Man (Shadowboxing x Wu-Gambinos)

Complex continues with their series of interviewing an artist about their favorite songs/albums. This go around they grabbed the Wu-Tang O.G., Method Man. Meth went through some of his hits and provided some entertaining back stories on those tracks. Got me thinking…sometimes I think people forget how nasty Method Man was from 93′ to early 96′. EVERYTHING he touched whether it was a verse or hook was classic. Two of my favorite verses come from GZA‘s classic sophomore album, Liquid Swords (“Shadowboxing) and Rae‘s OB4CL (“Wu-Gambinos).     Meth is still nice is hell….Beats change and so does the flow….He just needs beats that compliment his style. He is ill over breaks !!
