“Well recently I was asked to put a little promo mix together by Packer Shoes for Dominique aka “The Human Highlight Film” and the 20th Anniversary release of the Reebok Pump! Anyone growing up in the 80’s had a pair or had a homie who made sure his shoes were pumped before he hit the Bball court after school! I use to swear my vertical went up by at least 2 inches wearing them joints! So I put this mix together to commemorate his career and put together some tracks that were out during his time. Kind of like a soundtrack to his life and times. Bet y’all didn’t know Nique was not selected to the top 50 greatest playes of all time.WTF? Somebody go wake Commissioner Stern up. Happy birthday to Russell Jones! Today we are giving you all a birthday gift in his honor, the O.D.B.E.P.. I purchased this EP from the old CDNow online music store back in 98/99 while I was in college. In hindsight I’m not sure how official this “EP” is, but being a Wu-fanatic I needed all things Wu related regardless of price.
The “EP” was attractive because it had “Don’t U Know, Pt. II,” so it was nothing for me to drop the $20-30 (I think) to get this joint. The $20-30 I paid for it is nothing compared to what it’s trying to be sold for now.
