Today KevinNottingham.com is proud to present, along with Odoublef Records, the new mixtape from Montreal’s Malicious AKA Mr. Malish. Life Not So Sample 2 is the follow up to last year’s Life’s Not So Sample. We’ve been supporting Malish since the beginning of this site in 2007, so it’s an honor to finally sponsor his work. The artwork on this tape is unreal, and the music speaks for its own. With the majority of the mixtape being produced by Malish himself, he also enlisted the help of G.C., Gee Wiz, and Dou Tang for a few cuts.

Trackstar The DJ just released his latest mixtape featuring Jay-Z and Lupe Fiasco. This mixtape is similar to the Royce Da 5′9″ and Lil WayneBest Rapper Alive mixtape he dropped last November; where he creates a dope mix of both emcees spitting over identical beats. Hova and Lupe step in the ring for eleven rounds to see who spit it the best.
I’ve heard all of these songs and can already tell you who wins this fight IMO. I’ll give Lupe “Pressure” and “Sittin Sidewayz,” but that’s it.
Spotted and hosted by TSS. Full cover, tracklist and link after the cut.

Here’s the latest mixtape from Theo Martins (who previously just went by Theo). Mixed by DJ Wreckineyez, this is what Theo had to say about the tape:
“We named this project ‘Channel Surfin’ as it generally represented people and their short attention-spanned nature. Each song serves as a ‘Channel’ each different from the last song and so forth. The goal was to collectively mash them together to create what we have here. My life is such a TV show.?”
