Here’s the video for the single “Lost Ones” from RAtheMC feat. Pro’Verb, it’s off of the Trending Topics mixtape. After the cut check out the pics of RA modeling for the Dangerously Beautiful clothing line, she is definitely adding to her triple threat status (emcee, singer and songwriter).

We get tons of request daily from artist requiting us to post their music, but it’s almost impossible for us to honor every request. The Inbox was created to showcase unknown artist and their music (great idea Kev!). The homie Psymun sent over a track he produced for a New York based rapper by the name of E-Fluent.
Hit the cut for the link to the track and come back and give some feedback to Psymun and E-Fluent.
Philly emcee Truck North hooked up a new track he did “Run 4 Mayor” along with Skillz and Cutlass Reid. The Roots Crew member rocks over Pac Div’s instrumental for this cut which will be featured on his upcoming mixtape.
GZA jumps on yet another remix, this time of Mando Diao’s “Dance With Somebody” alongside Cadence Weapon put together by Hood Internet. The Genius succeeds yet again with another dope track, continuing the Wu-Tang general’s streak of impressive guest appearances this year. Props to The Culture of Me for the link.
Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” is a 2009 American concert film documenting Michael Jackson’s rehearsals of the concert series of the same name, both on stage and behind the scenes. The film will comprise of Jackson mentoring his team for the 50 shows, as well as him creating, developing, and ultimately staging the high-tech performances. The footage was filmed at The Forum and the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Despite originally being set for an October 30, 2009 release date, the film’s release date was rescheduled for October 28, 2009, with a limited two-week run. Tickets went on sale a month early on September 27, 2009, to satisfy a high anticipated demand.
After the cut you’ll find three versions of the song the album version, orchestra version, and extended orchestra version. Props to Hetal Bhatt for the tracks.
Rasheed sent me these two tracks last week sometime. “Queen of the Ghetto” and “My Freedom” are a few years old, but they show Sheed’s social consciousness and remarkable story telling ability. Rasheed is working/finishing up three projects right now (I think): his debut album and two EP’s.
“My Freedom” is unmastered. Hit the cut for the link.
Houston legend K-Rino hit me up with lead single off his upcoming album Solitary Confinement called “I Got Stripes.” If you unfamiliar with K-Rino, he’s one of the premier lyricists in the game. The leader of the South Park Coalition, one of the largest crews in hip hop, K has been in the game since the late 80s. With 15+ albums, K-Rino is the epitome of longevity. He made a dream collab for many fans when he appeared on Scarface’s album Emeritus last year. Check out the new single after the jump and make sure to support the album when it drops.
Late pass on this one but it’s only fitting this be posted on DJ Premier Wednesday. Cormega gets Premo behind the boards of “Make It Clear” which is off his new album Born & Raised. Make sure to cop the album when it drops on October 20th.
Truth Universal hit me up with a new track “This Moment” featuring Lyrikill and produced by Prospekt. This joint will be off the New Orleans emcee’s upcoming EP Guerilla Business which drops later this year. Make sure to check out Lyrikill’s video posted earlier here and cop his new album Heart & Sole which is available now on Amalgam Digital.
We’ve featured Rasheed Chappell on the site a couple of times within the last few months [here]. I co-sign dude cause he is extremely talented and has something to say.
Well, he hooked up with the good folks at When Giants Meet to shoot this video as sort of an introduction or visual introduction to Rasheed. I’ll let them explain.
“The first video collaboration between WGM x Rasheed Chappell, Shot in Passaic, NJ. The idea started at the Hot Grill in Clifton in a meeting we had, and ended up in the APP Projects. We had a great time filming everything that day and hope that you all enjoy it.
This track talks about the start of a dream, how it is, and whats to come… which is going to be crazy for sure! “Life is what you make it, and that’s real,” true words to live by. RSG produced the track; and did everything he had to do PLUS more on this joint.
We would like to thank everyone included in making this song/video and promise to continue to bring you nothing but the best we can give you all.
Peace!”
Hit the cut for the video. Oh…Rasheed is still putting the finishing touches on his debut album Nostalgia and is working on an EP with one of our Nottinghamer beat makers.
The Louisiana onslaught of music continues! Here’s a new track from New Orleans emcee Fiend called “Knees Deep (Swamp Land).” Fiend has been a fixture on the scene since the mid 90’s releasing the highly acclaimed albums Won’t Be Denied & There’s One In Every Family. Many may remember Fiend for being a part of No Limit during the heyday as well as being a member of the Ruff Ryders. He recently had a production credit on the latest Jadakiss album, the song “Something Else.” Rumors have also been surfacing about Fiend possibly signing to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation although they’ve not yet been confirmed. Check out some classic Fiend tracks after the jump.
Check out episode 5 of Skyzoo’s “Saving Our Grace” series, “The Need” directed by Mills Miller. Remember, Skyzoo’s debut album The Salvation drops next week on Jamla/Duck Down Records.
