I’m sure most of you have already downloaded this album, but for those who have been asleep check out the latest leak from MaG & G.C.’s $5 Cover.
This will be the last song we push for $5 Cover, aside from a remix to one of the song from the album. More details on that later. Both artists already have new projects lined up. MaG has a brand new album dropping next month and we should be hearing something from that real soon. G.C. on the other hand has been working with another emcee to hopefully recreate the magic of $5 Cover.
Check “For The Music” out after the cut and if you like what you hear, you can download the whole album.

The homie Ariel Borujow sent me over this new album he’s working on with Phase One and Asa Buchanon the other day… and OHMYGOD. The whole album, front to back, is pure unadulterated hip hop. I have no idea when the album will be dropping, but I’ve been given the go ahead to leak the track “Confunk-Shun” from the album. Definitely be on the look out for these cats!

Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Pt. 2 is my choice for the album of the year and Raekwon paid tribute to his fallen comrade on it with “Ason Jones.” The heartfelt song from The Chef serves as a perfect homage to his Wu-Tang brother off a great album.

K. Sparks and producer Pajozo and set to release the follow up to last year’s Definition [download] on Thanksgiving day. The album is called Soul Food (how appropriate) and will be available via all online retailers. That’s right, this one ain’t for free. But if it’s anywhere as good as Definition was, it will definitely be worth your money.
Hit the jump for the second leak, “God’s Love”…
