I told myself I wasn’t going to get behind this month… September is officially over and last night I went through all of the “leaks” that we posted on the site throughout the course of the month. I didn’t think there would be too many since we dedicated the first 11 days of the month to Jay-Z (no Jay tracks on this tape, btw). But man, we had over 7 pages of individual tracks that we posted in September!
I could have easily made this a two disc mixtape, but I really wanted to get the best of the best. So I knocked it down to 22 tracks (about half of September’s leaks), leveled out the volume, and got rid of the unnecessary air. This mixtape kicks ass!

Better late than never, huh? Things have been really hectic around here so my month-end compilation for June got pushed off to the side. I had every intention on putting it out, cuz we posted some real gems last month. Seems that we’ve been posting more and more everyday and there were too many great songs to make this compilation fit on a CD. So, I went all out and made this mixtape 35 tracks deep. If you must burn it to a CD, it’ll fit across two.
So check it after the cut. This is the shit that I personally bump. So if anyone wonders what Kevin Nottingham recommends… this is it! July’s mixtape coming soon…

May was a great month for music and this month’s KevinNottingham.com mixtape proves it. If you’re not familiar with our end of the month mixtape series, basically what I do is compile the best of the leaks that I’ve posted on the site throughout the whole month. We’ve been doing this since the top of the year and I like it cuz it gives me a chance to organize all those loose tracks I have sitting on my hard drive and upload em to my ipod in some orderly fashion.
As I was saying, this month had an extreme abundance of great music. Because of that, May’s mixtape turned into 2 full discs! So if you missed anything that we posted this month or just want a great mix of songs to listen to, hit the jump!

Here we are at the last weekend of the month. As promised, I’ve compiled a mixtape of the hottest songs we’ve featured on the site during the month of March. The number of tracks we featured this month was actually a lot more than this, but in order to keep a consistent mix, I picked the tracks I was personally feeling the most and I narrowed it down so it would fit on a CD. I’m pretty much diggin’ this new end of month mixtape series. It takes me a little time to put em together, but the end result is something that I’m pretty proud of. In case you missed it, this new series is basically a monthly wrap up of all the leaks we’ve posted for the month. You can be sure that when you play this tape, it is Kevin Nottingham approved! This series is also good for those of you that missed some of the tracks we’ve posted over the month. Don’t get this series confused with our weekly inbox series though… totally different. Although I have included a few tracks that were put up in the inbox that were recommended by you all… the readers.
