About Addi “Mindbender” Stewart
Addi “Mindbender” Stewart is a lover of worldwide hip hop culture. He has worn many styles of the Kangol of Creation on his hip hop head, including MC, journalist, promoter, host, videographer, DJ, b-boy, visual artist, and entrepreneur. Some of his favorite interviews have been with Nas, Kool G. Rap, RZA, Kanye West, Method Man… and Playboy Playmate Victoria Zdrok. He has also shared the stage with MF DOOM, The Pharcyde, El-Producto, Bigg Jus, Cannibal Ox, Mr. Lif, Camu Tao, Cage, Del the Funky Homosapien, Aceyalone, Jeru the Damaja, Royce the 5′9″, CL Smooth, Kool Keith and Blackalicious, to name a few. Mindbender has rocked spots from Project Blowed in Los Angeles, to Vancouver, to Halifax to S.O.B.’s in New York, but he lives in Toronto, where he proudly represents his hometown at every gathering of the hip hop community he possibly can.
