I know this next one will be compared to American Zeppelin, which was released a couple of weeks ago. This one is called Houses of The H.O.V.A. and was remixed by Dr. Watch from Bedstuy, New York. Surprisingly, Dr. Watch had never heard the previous Jay-Z/Zeppelin project. It’ll be interesting to compare the two. This is his homage to the late great Zeppelin drummer John Bonham and here’s what he has to say about his project:
When Danger Mouse put out “The Grey Album” I immediately thought, “I need to do this with Zeppelin!!” So, 3 years later, my opportunity is finally here. I think John Bonham would be proud. Enjoy and let me know what you think.
