Much thanks to Nofrillz over at cantstopfanatics.blogspot.com for hooking us up with these next two. The amount of American Gangster remix albums has been completely overwhelming and I want to thank all of you for making this site the unofficial American Gangster remix site. Real quick though, I want to get this out the way. There is NO CONTEST being held on this site. We’re only trying to help people’s music get heard here. I just wanted to make that clear as I’ve had a few people email me about the contest. Sorry for any confusion there may have been. If you’re looking for the American Gangster remix contest, head on over to hiphopdx.com. The deadline for their contest is Dec 31st.

Now back to the music… The first one comes from producer Nick James out of Oakland. It’s called American Producer. This one is NICE. As Bell Biv Devoe would say, it’s mentally hip-hop, smoothed out on the R&B tip with a pop feel appeal to it (or something like that).  This one has a nice jazzy groove to it though.  Definitely a keeper.

The second one here comes from Dr. Goo who mixed Hov with the musical Chicago; American Gangster in Chicago.  I’ve never seen Chicago, so I can’t comment on this one.  Check it out anyway though.
