If we were giving out award here, the most ambitious award would go to Abstrakt Soundz, who not only remixed American Gangster, but remixed The Blueprint also — AND REMIXED THEM WELL.  My first listen to The American Abstrakt Fuck A Gangster gave me the impression of a whole new album.  Abstrakt really made this one his own.  Then I heard The Imprint, and all I got to say is Abstrakt Soundz (who hails from L.A.) is the one to watch out for in ‘08.  Check for yourselves!  Even the artwork is tight.  Both albums are included in the link below.
