I gotta thank the peeps on this blog that turned me onto 100dBs & Ryan O’Neil’s album that came out last year.  Although I just heard it for the first time a few weeks ago, I’ve been rockin’ it consistently.

Anyway, it just so happened that 100dBs hit me up on MySpace earlier today.  He told me about a contest that’s being run over at Urb Magazine called Next 1000 and that he was recently nominated.

I don’t know much about the contest, but if 100dBs gets some great promo out of it, he definitely has my vote.  So, this post serves two purposes… 1) To introduce you to 100dBs, if you haven’t heard of him already and 2) To get you all to go over and vote for 100dBs at Urb’s Next 1000.  VOTE HERE.  You gotta create an account on their site to vote though.
