Blueprint 3?

Jay-Z: Blueprint 3?Yesterday I got on a rant and called out a few blogs for posting redundant information. I just want it to be known that it was not my intention to cause any ill-will. I guess I was just in a rut… it happens. Everybody’s doing their thing in hip hop and in the blog world and most of those blogs that I mentioned inspired me to run this site. So I just wanted to get that out in the open and if I stepped on anyone’s toes I apologize. We all should be working together, not against one another.

On a positive note, I gotta give major props up to 2DopeBoys for posting some really dope exclusives late yesterday. A new (or leftover) track from Talib Kweli, produced by Kanye West, called “Mama Can You Hear Me?” and a new track from Jay-Z, produced by Timbaland, called “Ain’t I”. I haven’t heard either one yet, but it got me excited… just when I was bitchin’ about no good releases yesterday. Apparently the Jay-Z track is from the upcoming Blueprint 3. Or is someone just starting rumors? If so, that’s a pretty damn good rumor. I got a feeling the track is the one that was supposed to be on Tim’s Shock Value last year. Anyway, I don’t care.. Jay-Z and Timbaland make a perfect team; sort of like Kanye and Common. I’m not gonna rant on like I did yesterday… I got some pretty hot posts coming over the next few days, so I need to get busy. Oh and apparently the rumors of the ROC getting dropped are false!

With Clue shouting it all over the place and Jigga’s love for the game & inability to retire & stay away, I got a feeling that yes it’s coming, & if the rumour is true then I simply CANNOT wait, & yeah I gotsa give props to 2dopeboys they’re always fresh on their stuff & I’m diggin’ both songs posted yesterday.

Booo at that new old jigga track

‘And even though these n!ggas talk greasy bout me
Ask these n!ggas how they gon eat without me

And even though they don’t like me
    They respect the god’

For those that’s seen Training Day - Jay sounds like Alonzo on his block. And if you remember the movie correctly, dudes from that block put him in check at the end. Joe Budden is that block.

    ‘Warhol’s in my halls wall
I got Basquiats in the lobby of my spot’

Kanye mentions Warhol, Swizz talks Basquiat. Low and behold, Jay regurgitates the ballerific status. Silly rappers need to take a Art History course.

I’m not hatin on hov, I’m a fan. I’m just not feelin him on his Washington Wizards status.

the new jay-z track is wack, i hope it don’t get in the blueprint 3. And the talib weli is an classic kanye production, with soul samples and pitched voice

Damn Krome… way to break it down! Nice comparison. I’m listening to this now for the first time and although Jay’s lyrical content is less than inspiring, all I gotta say is “TIMBO IS BACK!” I’m sorry, I’m a long time Timbaland fan and this beat is CLASSIC TIMBO!

And as far as the Kweli/Kanye track… why the hell didn’t this make the album?!?! Mo’ FIYAH! This track is way smooth. Nice to hear Kanye going back to the basics!
